Donation Guidelines

What Can I donate?

We can accept DROP-OFF Donations Tuesday – Saturday, 9:30am – 4:30pm.
No DROP-OFF Donations on SUNDAYS, MONDAYS or Any Time the ReStore is not open.

Please note… due to liability we ask that you please do not leave items outside of the ReStore when we are closed for Drop-Off Donations. Items left cannot be sold and therefore increase our trash removal costs, reducing the assistance we can provide to the community.

All Items must be in saleable, clean, undamaged, and in working condition and all items must be from a pet free and smoking free environment. We do not have a repair shop, cleaning department or refinishing department. Items need to be sales-floor ready and in no need of cleaning or repairs. Please don’t get upset if we refuse your donation.

Things that do not further our mission:

Paying to dispose of other’s trash.
Accepting donations that do not sell in a timely manner.
Accepting items that are broken, damaged, or otherwise unusable.
Accepting items that can be considered a liability.
E.g. Ladders or tools that could be hazardous to the customer, upholstered furniture, old paint, exercise equipment, appliances over 7 years old, children’s furniture and toys.

We acknowledge that it is unlikely that you would be donating items that could be dangerous, hazardous, or defective, but it does happen. Unfortunately, this means we must be very cautious in our choices.

If you are unsure if your item could be refused, feel free to call, email, or come by with pictures or details about the item. We are more than happy to review your donations.
