Why recycle at your Habitat ReStore?

Ecosmith will donate 5 cents per pound of textile recycling to Habitat for Humanity so every little helps.

The following is a list of items that you can recycle at the ReStore free of charge.

Textiles, Clothing, and Shoes    

Through our partnership with Ecosmith Recyclers you can recycle the following items which must be bagged and placed in the supplied large yellow containers located in the parking lot outside of our store:

Used Clothing

Tops, Sweaters, Sweatshirts, Dresses, Outerwear, Bottoms, Suits, Socks, Pajamas, Slips, Bras, Underwear

Household Linens

Sheets, Blankets, Towels, Curtains/Drapes, Aprons, Dish Cloths, Cloth Napkins, Table Linens, Comforters, Throw Rugs, Placemats


(Single or in Pairs) Shoes, Heels, Flats, Sandals, Flip Flops, Boots, Sneakers, Cleats, Slippers


Hats, Bags, Belts, Gloves, Ties, Scarves, Bathrobes


All Stuffed Animals, Halloween Costumes, Sports Jerseys, Rags (non-contaminated)


Please Note:
Per the request of the Ecosmith Recyclers, all items must be bagged when placed in the yellow containers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

You cannot recycle:
Non-textiles, Wet and Oil-soaked Textiles, Contaminated Textiles, Rugs and Carpeting, Pillows, Mattresses.
